Fire, the chicken fried steak burritos are amazing!! So filling, and the mimosas are a treat.

Oooooohh!! The breakfast burrito with the biscuits and gravy...absolutely delicious!!! Friendly service and a clean atmosphere. Would have given 5 stars, but the restaurant uses styrofoam cups. I wanted to get a soda, but refuse to use styrofoam cups.

We were passing through Orovville and found Jake's. So glad we did! The employees were really friendly and the food was fantastic! We had the mushroom swiss burger and the BBQ bacon burger. Both were great choices and fries were perfect and hot' Fun decor and very clean. We will definitely be back!

I've been at Jake's burger at least 8-10 times and food has always been solid. They're located about one mile off Hwy 70 off Oroville Dam Blvd. The vibe is pretty chill and noise level is low. They can get very busy at lunch time and seats can be filled quickly. I've tried their 1/4 and 1/2 pounder burgers and they're solid taste wise. Fries are seasoned well and not too oily. Prices are decent,... heads up they charge 25 cents for ranch now, where in the past used to be free. Burger 4 stars Service 4 stars Price 4 stars

Visited Jake's based on a locals recommendation for lunch and it was a solid 4 star place! This was a great recommendation and would definitely visit again. The burger I ordered has good flavor and was a good size with fresh ingredients and good buns. The meat was cooked perfectly and it was juicy and overall delicious. I had the combo which came with fries and this was my only picky downside to the meal. The fries had a good crunch and cooked very well, but they just lacked some kind of seasoning to along with the good juicy burger. If I had one recommendation for the restaurant, it would be to add some flavor/spices to the fries and this would for sure be a 5 star burger place. Even a little paprika or season all or something would make the meal much better. Overall the service was ok, since it's just an order at the counter establishment and you pick up your own food from the counter. The ambiance was your local hometown burger diner that been here and doing well. Again, I would eat here again for burger and hope they consider adding some flavor to the fries

Came in on Monday around 3 PM. Had a barbecue bacon cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. Decided to get the meal. There were two young ladies working who were nice. Food came out quickly and was correct. Burger came with a truckload of fries. They were cooked well, but maybe just a teeny bit too salty. The burger itself was good although I thought the bun was a tiny bit dry. Overall, a pretty good experience. Next time I think I might want to try one of their chickens sandwiches... And maybe a shake

Oh my gosh!!!! This place is it!!! Oroville is a gold mine! Again trying out small businesses while traveling for work. Jake's was recommended by locals and boy were we content with the recommendation. The place is in a small shopping center and is also a small place for how busy they are. There was never a slow moment while we were there. The employees are the nicest and happiest of people. I ordered the chicken sandwich with bacon, jalapenos, and pepper jack cheese. The burger is spicey so be careful but so delicious. They chicken breast was super tender and full of flavor. The fries were to die for. They give you free ranch and this Smokey dipping sauce. We also ordered the tots because they looked bomb. The tots have this special seasoning which made them extra delicious. All in all this place will be my go to when in Oroville.
